- Refund and Cancellation Policy
Consultation Bookings
- Cancellations: Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. However, Administration fee will apply to all cancellations.
- Refunds: Refunds will only be issued for pre-paid sessions cancelled within the notice period.
No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend a booked session without prior notice, the full session fee will apply.
Medicare Rebates Policy
Eligibility for Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebates are available only for clients who:
- Have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from their General Practitioner (GP), Psychiatrist, or Paediatrician.
- Have been referred to Marvel Adeyemi or Wholesome Counselling Services for counselling or psychological support as indicated in the MHCP.
Claiming Medicare Rebates
- Medicare rebates can only be claimed after each consultation has been completed.
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they provide the correct MHCP details before or at the time of the first session.
Rebate Amounts
- The rebate amount is determined solely by Medicare. Wholesome Counselling Services is not responsible for the rebate value, as this is subject to Medicare’s policies and procedures.
- Clients are advised to contact Medicare directly for clarification on rebate amounts or eligibility.
Out-of-Pocket Costs
- Clients will be required to pay the full session fee upfront.
- Medicare rebates will then be processed, and the rebate amount will be reimbursed to the client based on Medicare’s guidelines.
